I am dedicated to preserving local biodiversity and have restored the chestnut grove according to the Natura 2000 programme.

This is why I joined Cévennes Ecotourisme, an association of professionals committed to sustainable tourism that focuses on the essential values of welcoming, preserving and sharing.
We are goat breeders, mountain guides, hosts, etc. – all different, and yet we share our diverse life choices in the simple life.

I’m originally from the Cévennes and spent most of my childhood holidays here, at my grandparents’ house.
I acquired La Peyrarié in 1997, and since then it is my children who have been adventuring on the steep paths, building huts in the chestnut grove or dams in the Gardon river.

We are proud that our accommodation respects the environment even beyond the demanding criteria: the roof timbers are made from chestnut wood, a natural local material used by Cévenol craftsmen; the swimming pool has chlorine-free filtration and is integrated into the landscape…
